THE SOUTH AMERICAN DATES OF HELL

The new "Black Metal deluxe edition" including the 7 date of hell DVD is released.
"Welcome to hell", "Black Metal" and "At war with Satan" will be released on double vinyl including extra tracks. The release date is set to 16 oct 2009.
Venom is in the studio recording a DEMO. The release for the upcomming album is set to summer 2010.
Antton leaves venom after 10 years in the band. Danté takes over the drums.

2008

PROMO VIDEO is streamed on the official venom site.
Venoms new Album "HELL" is released.
Tracks from HELL is now for streaming on the official site, make sure you check it.
Venom will headline "Hellfest" in France 20 of June.
From the official site: "Venom are planning to play a select number of festival shows this summer to coincide with the release of their new album. The bands management are now in negotiations
with promoters to confirm the shows"
Venom's new album "HELL" will be released in may 2008 through Universal. It will contain 13 tracks and some of the song titles will be:
"Armageddon", "Straight To Hell", "Hand Of God", "USA For Satan", "The Power & The Glory", "Evil Perfection", "Kill The Music" and the title track "HELL".

2007

Venoms new album will be released early 2008
Venom is back in the studio after the tour. A demo with 18 tracks are recorded all ready.

Former venom member Abaddon have joined a band called DJINN.
Venom is planning for more tourdates. USA, Australia, Japan and europe. Check the official site for more info.
Venom will have a signing session before the gig in Stockholm at Soundpollution.
The "Black Metal Documentary" with Cronos on DVD is released. Cronos is featuring 20-30 times answering some short questions and there is also a live clip by venom.

Former venom member Tony Dolan will release his new album with Atomkraft early 2007
There are some short video clips with venom live 2006 on youTube. At least from Sweden, Italy, London, Germany and Finland.
Venom will feature the Sweden Rock Festival DVD with Black Metal.
Venom cancel the Japanese show. Cronos is ill.
Reading on forums etc venoms USA tour was a big success. Short (about one hour) but great.
One of the American 10 commandments shows was cancelled.
Venom is working on 2 DVDs. One will contain older stuff like "the 7:th date of hell" and "Nightmare". The second DVD will contain material from the 2006 tours.
Metal Black on Japan pressed CD will be released 6th September: This Japanese edition comes with great and important 4 bonus live tracks. Also this auction's copy is very limited 1st pressing for reservation only. with text & lyric insert. Of course this Japanese pressing comes with Obi !Top quality disc and high quality printed sleeve .
American 10 commandments tour is now confirmed.
Venom will be playing live at Sweden Rock Festival 9 june 2006.
Metal Black, new album released. 4th best album ever according to the swedish fans on the SRF message board.
The ultimate Venom Collection on CD and booklet is released. Only the booklet is worth the money. The only thing missing is a DVD, then it realy would be the ultimate Venom Collection.

VIDEO

The video clip for the song Flight of the Hydra is censured because of some scenes sawing a real dead infants head with two faces and a burning house. They will enter the studio in December to record their new album. All info by His Majesty Cronos a couple of days ago.

INFO FROM VENOMS MANAGER

the band are currently writing new material for a new album, but its a little to early to give any titles etc. Cronos and Abaddon have over the last few years have been offered roles in various films but have chose not to participate, no doubt if the right role comes along it will happen but up to now nothing has been confirmed. Once again it is a little early for the band to be looking at live shows, but after the new album is released in June/July 1999 I'm sure they'll be hitting the road in selected areas.

CRONOS IN A HORROR MOVIE

John: I was talking to Cronos in July and he told me that he has been approached to star in a Horror film. If it happens he will play the part of a psychopath with a liking for dead bodies (hell yeah) also starring Marianne Faithfull as his mother.
